In the mid 1980s with the advancement of small scale PCs, and the rising IBM work area PC, the need to associate frameworks was developing at a noteworthy pace and thusly by late 1980s, truly a huge number of PCs were associated with the Internet. It was for all intents and purposes turning into an apparently unimaginable errand to decide precisely what number of PCs were imparting on the Internet. To additionally fortify the reason for this promising system, nations outside the United States were likewise bustling setting up their own interior systems and were getting associated with the Internet spine. Unexpectedly, the huge separations that data once needed to go with helps, for example, the copy, message and even the dispatch administration were shortcircuited by the Internet. Here, data went at almost the speed of light, finding the least bustling entryway to its goal, guaranteeing that the message was completely unblemished by utilizing mistake adjustment procedures, utilizing decorums by compacting itself in order to make more space on the system for additional information traffic and once arriving at its goal, illuminating its source, that it has wellbeing arrived at its planned spot and with complete message flawless. The framework was additionally smart enough to know precisely when and where a mistake has happened when the information which was sent didn't arrive at its goal. What is Internet? Web is a PC based overall data systems. The Internet is made out of countless littler interconnected systems. These systems may interface tens, hundreds, or thousands of PCs, empowering them to impart data to one another and to share different assets, for example, amazing supercomputers and databases of data. The Internet has made it workable for individuals everywhere throughout the world to viably and economically speak with one another. In contrast to customary telecom media, for example, radio and TV, the Internet is a decentralized framework. Each associated individual can speak with any other person on the Internet, can distribute thoughts, and can sell items with a base overhead expense. The Internet has carried new open door for organizations to offer products and enterprises on the web. Later on, it might have a similarly emotional effect on advanced education as more colleges offer Internet-based courses. The systems from which the Internet is made are typically free systems, implying that the assets of the system can be imparted to anybody signing on to, or getting to, the system. Different sorts of systems, called intranets, are shut to open use. Intranets are the most widely recognized kind of PC arrange utilized in organizations and associations where it is imperative to limit access to the data contained on the system. How the Internet Works? The Internet depends on the idea of a customer server connection between PCs, additionally called customer/server design. In a customer/server design, a few PCs go about as data suppliers (servers), while different PCs go about as data collectors (customers). The customer/server engineering isn't balanced that is, a solitary customer PC may get to a wide range of servers, and a solitary server might be gotten to by various distinctive customer PCs. Before the mid-1990s, servers were generally exceptionally incredible PCs, for example, centralized computer or supercomputers, with very high handling velocities and a lot of memory. PCs and workstations, be that as it may, are currently fit for going about as Internet servers because of advances in figuring innovation. A customer PC is any PC that gets data from a server. A customer PC might be a PC, a pared-down PC (now and then called a Web machine), or a remote gadget, for example, a handheld PC or a phone. To get to data on the Internet, a client should initially sign on, or interface, to the customer PCs have organize. A host arrange is a system that the customer PC is a piece of, and is normally a neighborhood (LAN). When an association has been set up, the client may demand data from a remote server. On the off chance that the data mentioned by the client lives on one of the PCs on the host organize, that data is immediately recovered and sent to the clients terminal. On the off chance that the data mentioned by the client is on a server that doesn't have a place with the host LAN, at that point the host organize associates with different systems until it makes an association with the system containing the mentioned server. During the time spent associating with different systems, the host may need to get to a switch, a gadget that decides the best association way among systems and causes systems to make associations. When the customer PC makes an association with the server containing the mentioned data, the server sends the data to the customer as a document. An uncommon PC program called a program empowers the client to see the document. Instances of Internet programs are Mosaic, Netscape, and Internet Explorer. Sight and sound records must be seen with a program. Their pared-down partners, text-no one but reports, can be seen without programs. Numerous records are accessible in both interactive media and text-just forms. The way toward recovering records from a remote server to the clients terminal is called downloading. One of the qualities of the Internet is that it is organized around the idea of hypertext. The term hypertext is utilized to depict an interlinked arrangement of reports in which a client may hop starting with one archive then onto the next in a nonlinear, acquainted way. The capacity to hop starting with one record then onto the next is made conceivable using hyperlinks-parts of the hypertext report that are connected to other related archives on the Internet. By tapping on the hyperlink, the client is quickly associated with the record determined by the connection. Sight and sound records on the Internet are called hypermedia archives. Getting to the Internet Access to the Internet falls into two general classifications: devoted access and dial-up get to. With committed access, the PC is legitimately associated with the Internet by means of a switch, or the PC is a piece of a system connected to the Internet. With dial-up get to, a PC interfaces with the Internet with a transitory association, by and large over a phone line utilizing a modem-a gadget that changes over a PCs computerized signals into signals that can be transmitted over conventional phone lines. Computerized signals are comprised of discrete units, while most phone lines are simple, implying that they convey signals that are constant rather than discrete. When a sign has gone via phone line, a subsequent modem is required at the opposite stopping point to reconvert the transmitted signs from simple to advanced. Incredible numerous organizations, called Internet Service Providers (ISPs), give dial-up or committed access to the Internet for a humble expense. Instances of ISP s are America Online (AOL), the Microsoft Network (MSN), and CompuServe. Todays User Today, with the advancement of the work area PCs which currently pack the handling intensity of the minis and principle casings of the late 70s and early80s are as yet developing all the more remarkable matching the preparing intensity of the workstation, PCs have gone in a different direction in their applications. Gone are the days when PCs were being utilized for average word preparing, little scope bookkeeping on a spreadsheet or independent databases. Clients are presently programming and making their own applications. For example, utilization of graphical programming is on an exponential ascent, work area distributing is being looked for after, and different administration apparatuses are being utilized. These days, the normal client of PCs has gotten considerably more requesting. The world has become significantly more PC proficient, and regardless, PCs have either as of now attacked our life or is going to. It is inescapable that in the following five years there won't be an individual who has, not run over a PC. Requirement for a Global Communication System The need to impart is growing. Individuals from conventional different backgrounds to no-nonsense PC clients, are speaking with one another electronically. An ever increasing number of databases are going ahead line. Data from generally straightforward administrations, for example, electronic mail to perusing research articles by some physicist a large number of miles away are for the most part accessible on line which has encouraged the client to accomplish errands in a matter of seconds just through the kindness of the Internet. What is Money? From the outset sight the response to this inquiry appears glaringly evident; the man or lady in the road would concede to coins and banknotes, yet would they acknowledge them from any nation? Shouldn't something be said about checks? They would presumably be less ready to acknowledge them than their own countrys coins and notes yet bank cash (for example anything for which you can compose a check) really represents by a long shot the best extent by estimation of the absolute flexibly of cash. The Success Template

The Success Template Success is not always self-evidentâ€"or rather, failure sometimes wields the shiny facade of success. A recent Inc. magazine cover story featured the “Entrepreneur of the Year,” Aaron Levie, a steel-eyed, suit-and-tie-clad, 28-year-old startup founder with an impressive track record. The handsome CEO brandishes all the accoutrements of a respect-worthy businessman: he is well spoken, he has a firm grasp on innovation and business strategy, he is funny and smart and charismatic, and, above all, he displays a steadfast work ethic. When unchecked, though, it’s this latter virtue that can be problematic. Inside its pages, the organ chronicled the young centimillionaire’s stringent daily routine: “He wakes at around 10. He showers quickly and arrives at the office by 11 a.m. He downs two coffees, sometimes holding two cups at once. He rarely eats breakfast or, for that matter, lunch. He spends 90 percent of his daylight hours in meetings or interviews, to which he walks very quickly or even runs. … [At 8:30 p.m., after a one-hour nap, Levie] gets really, really productive. Each night, he sends a couple hundred emails [until] 2 or 3 a.m. … [He] does not take weekends off, and, in the last handful of years, he has taken [only] one vacation, a three-day trip to Mexico with his girlfriend.” I was impressed when I first read the above accountâ€"it’s hard not to be, since we tend to base success on the postâ€"Industrial Revolution standards we’ve established. After reading it again, though, I quickly shifted from impressed to depressed. You see, Levie’s daily program seemed much like my corporate routine of yesteryearâ€"on steroids. It was a regimen that nearly killed me (and has turned Levie’s hair prematurely gray), but the venture capitalists interviewed by the magazine applauded this relentless schedule, endorsing Levie’s nonstop pace as the new paragon of success. If that’s what success looks like, then color me unsuccessfulâ€"I want no part of it. Please don’t mistake my words, though: I’m not condemning Aaron Levie. I’m not even objecting to his Energizer Bunnyâ€"esque days. With a nine-figure net worth, it’s obvious he isn’t doing it for the moneyâ€"like I was, blindly. Instead, I denounce the ideology that says working every waking hour is the template of successâ€"it’s not. Success is perspectival: it doesn’t have a template. Aaron Levie is successful because he’s doing what he wants to do with his life, and he’s contributing to the lives of others (his company employees nearly 1,000 people). However, a stay-at-home dad can be just as successful. Success is a simple equation: Happiness + Constant Improvement + Contribution = Success. What’s important, then, is to construct a life that aligns with your values and beliefs, your interests and desires. A life that makes you happy and adds value to others. If it doesn’t, the shiny facade will eventually rust from the inside. Read this essay and 150 others in our new book, Essential.

Essay about Two Kinds of School Public and Private School

Introduction: Private schools are also called independent schools of which they are not administered by national governments or local governments. Therefore, they   maintain their rights   when selecting their students and more so, they are funded   in part or   whole by charging students tuition and   they do not rely on government funding while public schools   are administered by the state or   local governments and also they do not maintain the full rights when selecting students. It is because the selection depends largely on student’s performance. It means that the students who pass with good grades have a better chance of being selected especially in high schools. This fact can be disputed depending on the nature of the State that one comes from.   The private schools charges tuition fees which enables them to be governed while public schools they do not charge tuition fees because they are funded by the government. Since the private schools do not get funds they are not restricted in their programs of curricula or development. There is freedom to develop their own curricula because parents agree with philosophical, intellectuals and religious basis   issued to the curricula and there is no government intervention   Ã‚  Ã‚  In admitting students, public schools can admit students regardless of there academic abilities and religious creed while private schools can choose not allowing some students in admission. Unlike the public schools, where it is the state that controls them, in private schools, it is the owner who calls the shots. It means that he is the one who is the declarant and   he has powers to do whatever he pleases with his school as long as he does right whatever that is encompassed within the states private schools regulations. For instance if a teacher can not perform in a private school, he/she can be fired by the owner of the school and another teacher replacing him or her while in public schools cases of underperformances, unpunctuality, drunkenness and immorality are highly reported unlike the private schools, this is because these teachers in public schools have got a lot of freedom and therefore they are less restricted to most rules. This is to say that, they are less monitored in duty performance and so laziness comes is given birth to as a by-product of careless supervision since they are sure that even if they or they do not attend classes they are still on payro ll and they must get their salaries. On the other hand, the teachers in private schools when they sign performance contract they have to work had in order to be paid the salaries at the end of the month. Sincerely speaking, uniforms allow students to get by minimum of clothing in private schools and also uniforms are marvelous equalizer on social status. The truth is that private school creates conducive environment for learning than the public schools because private schools students where uniforms while public do not since dress codes and uniforms is a formula for success (Kennedy, R. para1 to 5) According to example essays.com, most public schools, they have large fields where they have big classes which can accommodate many students and also they large play grounds which enables students to perform extra-curriculum activities like sporting activities while in private schools they have less buildings which can only accommodate few students and also they do not have enough play grounds as compared to public schools. Despite them having differences, they are also in some ways similar to each other. Firstly, both have sports programs which they offer exactly the same sports. In a sport like football, the main goal is to win and both the private and public schools are aware of that making it a mutual objective for both of   them to higher the best coach who is capable of seeing them through.(examples.com, Para 3) In comparing the results of Grade four and Grade eight, they show similarities but the NAEP employing adjusted scores indicated that the mean score of private school was higher than that of public school and the contrast was statistically significant. For the analysis that were carried out, it was realized that students features fore example type of school location, teacher experience and also the size of school it had little effect on the estimation of average differences when comparing between public and private schools. Variance decompositions provided same results for the 4-grades combinations. The total variance was because of heterogeneity within schools among students instead of the heterogeneity of the mean score among students (Grigg, W. Para 9-10) Conclusion: Education is very paramount regardless to whether one is being thought in private or public schools. Therefore, the government should not discriminate private schools because they are owned by individuals but they should ensure that both students whether from public or private should get equal chances when advancing to higher educational levels if they qualify. The governments should also give funds like bursaries to private schools because after finishing school the students will build their own nation instead of being idle. Both private and public schools have set the same goals of ensuring that students pass their examinations and advance to colleges and universities. This will make teachers rejoice and have the morale to teach other students in their own countries. Works cited Kennedy, R. (2010): Private School Uniforms and Dress Codes. English Literature Poem - 1144 Words

English Literature Poems Compare the methods that ‘Presents from my Aunts in Pakistan’ employs to highlight the importance of cultural identity with another poem? I have chosen to compare ‘Presents’ and ‘Hurricane’ as both poems highlight the importance of cultural identity in society. Both poets ‘Alvi’ and ‘Nicholas’ employ many different and similar methods to illustrate the importance of cultural identity. The poem ‘Presents’ is about the writer herself at a younger age feeling insecure as she is of dual heritage (mixed race) ‘in my English Grandmother’s dining - room. The poet also uses personification as he personifies the wind as if it were a ship ‘The howling ship of the wind’. The employs this technique as it helps the reader build a more vivid picture. It also helps describe the situation better (what’s happening). In that same line that poet also makes use of onomatopoeia when using the word ‘howling’. The writer uses onomatopoeia to. In the poem the poet uses participial adjectives ‘gathering’. The poet uses participle adjectives as makes the reader feel like what happening is continual in this example movement. The poet also employs antonyms and oxymoron’s ‘fearful and reassuring’. The poet employs these to. In the next stanza the poet employs repetition and triadic structure ‘Talk to me Huracan, Talk to me Oya, Talk to me Shango’. The writer uses repetition as it emphasises the point or the feelings, in this case it emphasise the poets relationship with the hurricane. Nevertheless, the innovation that any business adopts depends on the needs of the business as well as the customer’s demand. As such, companies can make use of technology in promotional as well as in distribution of its products. Business carry out product promotions with the sole aim of increasing their sales, attracting new customers, improving brand image as well as enhancing the brand identity. As such, businesses benefit from product promotion and distribution strategies in that they generate consumer demand. In addition, such policies are beneficial to consumers in that they avail certain goods and services t o consumers. Following the growing competition, it is important for any business to ensure that they engage in promotional and distribution strategies that are based on innovation. Such a process will ensure that they remain in business. For this reason, the Premium Chocolate manufacturers in UAE can adopt a number of the following innovational promotional and distribution strategies. Robust sales activities According to statistics released by the AC Nielson’s Retail Audit, the market for chocolate in United Arabs Emirates is drastically growing. It is estimated to have 27% and 14% value and volume growth respectively. Following such statistics, there is a high probability that the competition for the production of chocolate will increase.Advertising Looking for assessment on business economics? The advancement in technology has led to improved ways of sales promotion due to the availability of online platforms. Online sales sites offer a reliable platform where businesses can meet potential clients. However, in the case of premium chocolate, the sales activities ought to be directed at different groups. People falling in the 15-64 age bracket in UAE have been identified as target group for chocolate consumption and are thus very significant in determining market share. Push and Pull strategies Demand for a particular product calls for the push and pull strategies. Usually, a push approach to product promotion adopts an innovative design whereby goods and services are sold to resellers. Campaigns under the push strategies entail promotional features such as quality guarantee, free trials, and discounts offers. Such proposals are likely to entice custom ers to make a purchase (McLean-Conner 21). The pull strategy, on the other hand, depends on demand and targets the end user. Usually, customer care for any business may become low due the retailer becoming reluctant and thus fail to buy from the manufacturer. For this reason, companies should develop strategies (promotional and distribution) that are based on new technology. Adopting such strategies places any business at the upper hand to avail goods to customers and to assess the level of their customer’s satisfaction. Hybrid strategies Hybrid approach uses technology to combine both push and pull approaches. As such, a business can make simultaneous initiative to end users and resellers. Such strategy is important since it ensures that the final customer gets a constant flow of products either from distributors or directly from the manufacturer. From the above, it is evident that the strategy that a business adopts plays a significant role in determining how satisfied thei r customers are. An Exercise in Ambiguity

An Exercise in Ambiguity An Exercise in Ambiguity An Exercise in Ambiguity By Maeve Maddox I noticed this headline in the list of breaking news on the Yahoo landing page: Â  Sotomayor wins over GOP backers after smooth hearings At first I read the verb wins as the main verb and over GOP backers as a prepositional phrase. Read that way, the meaning of the headline was that Sotomayor had defeated GOP backers in some kind of competition. But I knew that couldnt be right. For one thing, Sotomayor wasnt competing against anyone in the hearings. For another, one doesnt compete against ones backers. So then I decided that what I had in front of me was the phrasal verb win over, meaning persuade, gain ones support. That made a little more sense, but as far I could recall, Sotomayor went into the hearings without any GOP backers. I clicked on the confusing headline to read the story. I found my answer in the lead: WASHINGTON – Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor won her first public pledges of support from Senate Republicans and one prominent GOP opponent, after a smooth performance at her confirmation hearings that has placed her firmly on track to become the high courts first Latina and the first Democratic-named justice in 15 years. Finally, I understood what the headline meant. Sotomayor had acquired some backers from among the Republican senators. The biggest obstacle to understanding for me was the word backers used with the phrasal verb wins over. I could see how she might win backers or win over some Republicans, but not how she could win over backers. If someone is a backer he doesnt need to be won over by the person hes already backing. Not every reader would have boggled at this particular headline as I did. Nevertheless, writers need to be aware of the possibilities for ambiguity that exist with the use of phrasal verbs. Sometimes it is better to replace a phrasal verb with a less ambiguous single verb, especially in writing intended for an audience that includes non-native English speakers. For example, we can put out the cat and put out a light; take out a girl and take out an enemy. Alternatives exist for most phrasal verbs. For example: put the cat outside extinguish a light take a girl on a date kill an enemy You may not always be able to hit on a suitable alternative, but its something to consider when revising a manuscript for clarity. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words - 3

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Essay Example Lacks died of cancer but her cells live on. Henrietta Lacks’s story holds great importance because of the fact that there are several ethical issues that raises concern. The ethical issues raised in those times, exist even today in some places; however there are certain legal procedures and laws that lay down guideline for the ethics to be followed by researchers. The first ethical issue that comes to my mind is that of â€Å"confidentiality†. The ethical issue of confidentiality in research means that the identity, privacy and all information about the patient must be treated as highly confidential in nature. The identity of people being used for a particular research or study should never be revealed. It is the researcher’s responsibility to protect the identity. However, in Lack’s case, confidentiality was not maintained. The researchers did not reveal only her name but also revealed her race to the world. In those times, there were no binding laws that called for confidentiality on part of the researchers. Today, it is mandatory for researchers using human tissues to respect the privacy of the subjects and safeguard their identity. One of the most popular to keep things confidential is the use of pseudonymisation or use a code in place of real identification of the human subjects (Kalra et al, 2006) The next ethical issue worth that I would like to discuss is that of â€Å"informed consent†. Human tissues and cells are of great importance to the research world however these tissues and cells need to be procured from people with appropriate consent. People have the right to know how their cells are being used for research. In Henrietta’s case, she was not informed about her doctor’s decision of tumorous cell extraction. She was not even asked for consent. In the 1950’s, issues about informed consent was still in infancy stages, so Dr.Gey was not compelled in any way to ask Henrietta Lacks’s consent for

A Comparative Analysis of the Foreign Policy Process between France Essay

A Comparative Analysis of the Foreign Policy Process between France and Germany - Essay Example As observed by Philip Gordon, â€Å"Franco-German military cooperation in the postwar period seems to have taken place despite important differences in perspective between the two countries, not because of a fundamental rapprochement of views† (Krotz, 2001, p. 3). He added that â€Å"at both public and elite levels, French and German attitudes toward security and defence were highly different† (Krotz, 2001, p. 3). However, as stated, France and Germany, despite of their different approaches to foreign policy were able to build an alliance and become a major force in the European Union (EU). This essay analyses the similarities and differences between the foreign policy process in France and Germany. Comparing and Contrasting French and German Foreign Policy In analysing the specific similarities and differences between the foreign policies of France and Germany, it is important to take into account the historical foundation of the Franco-German relations. The assumption that a strong diplomacy in Europe should be based on compromise between France and Germany is firmly embraced throughout the German political community. The ‘rapprochement’—reconciliation—between Germany and France was established in 1963 through the Elysee Treaty (McCarthy, 2001, p. 118). Nevertheless, contrary to their strong alliance in the economic sector, a strong cooperation has been problematic in the security and defence arena. The Franco-German relationship throughout the Cold War was mainly rooted in the effort of Germany to discreetly take part in security and foreign policy, which allowed France to control the arrangement. The eastward territorial expansion and reunification of Germany thus brought about a level of apprehension in France that Germany would reassess their alliance, specifically when dealing with the objectives and interests

Therefore, we will find a supplier who can supply us stocks, and our main job is to help her promote her products. And for every items sold, we are given some commissions. This method does not include any costs, and at the same time we can earn money. So why not? Secondly, our limitations will be transport problem. We are unable to choose other pick up points like Jusco or Melaka Sentral or Tesco simply because we do not have transport. Lastly, our knowledge in creating blogs are really limited. We are unable to hire professional webpage designer to help us design a really user-friendly webpage. We can only count on our own to come out with a webpage to publicize our products. Therefore, our website is just mediocre and not that appealing to people who have high requirements on blog designs. Besides, our blog also lack of certain functions. Stakeholders Our first stakeholders will be our customers. Most of our fund will come from our sales revenue. Second stakeholders will be the bag supplier from Taiwan, where we purchased our stocks under Batch A from them. Our third stakeholders will be our main bags supplier from Malaysia, which falls under Batch B products. Last but not least, we are our own businesss stakeholders because all the 5 of us come out with RM 550 total as a capital to start up our business. This brand is so famous because it is always updated with the latest fashion trend, always comes out with new arrivals, and most importantly, the price is very reasonable. Most of the bags price range are within RM 20- RM 60, which are affordable to all females. Money back guaranteed if they are not authentic. We will price our products within RM 20-RM 60 as well. Selling bags bring us desirable profits, and the stocks are easy to handle as well. For the dealing method, we will use poslaju for the postage method or we can also have a COD( cash on delivery) session around MMU Melaka with the customer if only the y are willing to come over here to get the bag. For the posting rate, it is RM8 flat no matter how many bags you purchase. Only applicable for residents in West Malaysia. For east Malaysia residents, the rate will be RM 12 no matter how many bags you purchased. Regarding the payment method, we have both Cimb account and Maybank account, both of the accounts can be used to pay for the bag. Financial Report Targeted Sales (units) Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 6 Week 7 Week 9 Week 10 Week 12 Week 1 Week 2: There are no sales for this period because of the preparation for business plan. This is when we discuss, plan and decide on what to sell and which supplier to get from for our online business. Week 3 Week 6: Within this period, we start to create our blog and Facebook to advertise and start to promote to our friends. We got not much response from customers because this business is still new to them. While promoting our products, the bags that we order directly from the supplier in Taiwan has finally arrived at the end of Week 6. Week 7 Week 9: After few weeks of promoting our products through blog and Facebook, our online business finally start to have some feedback from our customers. Therefore, we target to sell about 5 bags for the beginning and from what we had targeted, we actually manage to reach our target sales within this period of time. Week 10 Week 12: From the response that we get from our customers, we target to sell around 10 bags in these 3 weeks. Our online business is quite successful because we had achieved our target sales again. Although the profit is not much but we hope that our sales will slowly increase from time to time. Below is the income statement of Accessorized e-commerce business: Income Statement For the Three Months Ending August 31, 2010 RM Net sales 795.00 Less: Cost of goods sold 666.80 Gross profit 128.20 Expenses Postage 24.00 Net profit 104.20 MARKETING PLAN Market analysis Target market Our target market will be female. Nowadays, not only teenagers move towards fashion but also middle-age female. Female teenagers are the most important target market. Throughout the trendy world, female teenagers are getting trendy and very particular about fashion. We are taking this opportunity to target female market as selling the most fashion bags. By selling best possible price, we believe that they will be affordable to purchase our products and we have faith in attracting them towards our fashion bags. Besides that, we will target middle-age women as one of the popular markets too. As adults, they are mostly having a fixed income so that they are willing to spent more money in order to purchase their lovely and interested products. Positioning We will set up in customers mind to show that our online business of selling bags is something that brings fashionable to them. Nowadays, female love to buy many types of bags in order to match with their dressing according to occasion. To make our business more attractive, a lot of display photo are post in the blog so that customers can have moe clearer picture about our fashion bags. To do this, customers should well know about our bags each time they recall the word of fashion. Pricing strategy Online business is something that brings convenience to customers and not something trouble. By starting up online business, we able to eliminate many cost. In order to making profits, we should develop few types of pricing strategy so that a best possible price can be achieved. First of all, we develop product line pricing. Product pricing is types of technique to set the price steps between various types of bags in a product line with a different price. Throughout our blog, we have categorized several of bags into different range of price to allow customers freely choose their favourite bags. Another one is psychological pricing. We fix our bags to price below RM50 so that customers are affordable to purchase. Based on psychological approach, we price each bag into RM29.90, RM39.90, RM49.90 rather than a round figure of RM30, RM40, and RM50. This is a marketing strategy to influence customers mind that the products are cheaper than round figure. Customers are more likely to purchas e our products due to this attractive strategy. Promotion plan Promotion plays an important role in business. A well promotion plan should be develop in order to attract huge customers to buy our products. In promotion plan, we use direct marketing. Subscribe mails are one the way to promote our business which giving sufficient information about all the description related our products and delivery and payments methods so that customers can know more about our business hence they can promote their friends either word-of-mouth or through online. By mailing to one customer, it can be possibly indirectly spread the news to others. In addition, we will come out with lucky draw section through the blog. For those customersm are selected, they have chance to get a free gift. Next, we use online media to develop an advertisement at Facebook, twitter or e-mail in order to create awareness about our blog. Facebook is kind of very popular media that used by everyone no matter what country you are. So we taking this opportunity to create a group named Accessorized and place a lot of display photo in Facebook. Not only that, we will take real photo with the bags to show that the reality of the bags. Customers can have a clearer picture about the quality and design of the bags. If customers have any inquires, we able to communicate diherectly with customers and reply them from time to time. And also, customers who purchase 2 bags or more simultaneously will entitled free postage. By implementing sales promotion, customer attraction can be achieved towards our fashion bags. Distribution plan There are two types of delivery method which available to customers. First method is Cash on delivery (COD). Customers can make cash payment directly when they are nearby to us. The areas are only available in MMU Melaka. For instance, as we are MMU student, students who study in MMU purchase our products are able to pay cash payment and can get the products directly. Another way is postage where our products are in delivery services by using postage. Customers may charge postage fees when they purchase our products. We are using pos laju to deliver our bags. To remind that our business is within Malaysia only, so there will be two different prices in West and East Malaysia. For West Malaysia, it will charge RM8 flat whereas East Malaysia is RM12. No matter how many bags customers purchase, the charge are the same. Demand forecast To determining the forecast regarding to quantity of a product that customer will purchase, we focus more on female. Females love to shop and they are probable to buy our products. In addition, they treat bags as a fashion and they are most likely to buy many types of bags in order to suit with attire according to occasion. Thus, we can forecast that females are our target more and they will demand more. We will be doing a survey regarding the popularity of products to prove that our forecast is reliable and to estimate the quantity of our products that customers will purchase. Estimated people who involved with this survey will be approximately 50 people. Questionnaire This survey will only perform to 50 female: Do you like our bags? YES NO Have you ever purchased any products through online shopping before? (state what products) ____________________ Which price range appear to be affordable to you? RM20-30 RM30-40 RM40-50 RM50 and above OTHERS_________________ Do you think our bags are fashionable/up to the current trend? YES NO Which type of bags will you prefer as stated below? Sling bag Handbag Wallet/Purse COMPETITOR ANALYSIS Example of competitor SWOT ANALYSIS Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats Internal External Positive Negative Our strengths (S) are to provide some tips for the buyers to differentiate between the authentic and fake products. We are definitely selling authentic products where the bags have their own brand sign in it. Customers are confident to buy our products with a full trust. We also provide some tips and tricks to match bags with the attire of the day by our models. In addition, customers are able to search for all the detailed information about our products, order and delivery service and payment method throughout our attractive blog. Feedback and QA from our customers are highly encouraged so that we can to communicate and solve problems faced by customers. Our main weaknesses (W) is that customers cannot try the bags on their own to identify whether the bags really suit their preferences or not. This is because most of our stocks are from Taiwan, it is not like any other physical shop whereby customers can look at the quality, examine the quality of the bag and also try the bag on themselves before buying the bags. Next, we will be discussing on opportunities (O). In the trendy world, teenagers like to match their attire and also, our bag designs are trendy and fashionable. Thus, we have the opportunity to attract female to purchase our bags. They see bags as kind of fashion and they will feel interested towards our fashionable bags. Our main threat is that there are already have many bag sellers selling in the online market. An example of online competitors that selling bags are: www.baobaopifa.com. baobaopifa.jpg From the website, customers are allow to return the bags if they found any faults in the bags. This appear to be a benefit to customers but we are unable to do so. Thus, we must offer reasonable price and make attractive promotion to compete with those competitors in order to maximize our sales. And also, some of the customers prefer to purchase the bags at physical shop because they feel that it will bring more guarantees. For instance, Ecco shop is one of the brand selling various types of bags in a real shop. It is one of our competitors because Ecco shop does not only sell bags but they have also clothes and wallet. Risk Assessment We understand that every single business does carry risk. It is just different by the rate of risk that the business carry. Although there are many interruption on business that caused us to bear a huge risk, but we decided to accept it as a challenge towards the success. First of all, doubt of product quality will always be the main concern how people will think about when they do online shopping. Customer cannot touch, feel, see, and try on the product before they purchase. Hence, they will feel insecure, especially those who are having their very first transaction with the seller. We tried to overcome this problem by snapping real photos of the bags by our models. By looking at real photos, customer can have a clearer picture on the size and quality of the product. Besides, we also have this so called Chat Box and testimonial page that will allow customers to leave their comments if they have any satisfied or unsatisfied comments to voice out. Through the real feedbacks from custo mers, others will have more confidence on what we are selling on. Next interruption is that we are facing is selling price of our competitors. In fact, there are many seller that are selling exactly the same things as what we have. Sometime they are selling at a much lower price than us simply because they want to clear stock. In other words, they might be selling at a loss. We cannot follow this as we need to earn some profits to retain our ongoing business. So, how do we compete? What we can do is just to promise our customers on our products quality. We make sure that the price theyve paid definitely worth the quality of the bags we provide to them. The next interruption will be our products are less attractive to certain category of buyers. At the beginning stage of our business, we are unable to sell as much as other retailers did. Hence, we do not have so much capital to increase our stocks to satisfy our customers who come in different tastes. To overcome this problem, we fou nd a supplier that enable us to became an agent/middleman whereby we do not have to pay a single cent of capital. Although the profit was not that high but it is still able to sustain our business. Furthermore, we cannot serve those customers who prefer branded bags such as LV, and Gucci as our product status are not set as luxury line but just an ordinary product, hence this definitely caused us to lose certain amount of customer who prefer branded bags. Problem that we face during resources requirement process might also cost us a lot. First of all, the case run out stock is the most common problem among all. With the reason we are selling on first come first serve basis and each bag only limited to one unit, once the bag has been purchased, we are unable to satisfy another customer who shows the same interest. Besides, it might happen where products from suppliers do not match with what we have expected earlier on. Because this is not a face-to-face transaction, communication pro blem might happen during the ordering process. Hence, we have to seriously tell supplier what we exactly want and ensure that they provide the latest design for us in order to fit our customers taste. Blog blog1.jpg This is basically the interface of our blog. The main reason why we chose this template is because of the girlish colors, which consists of pink and red combination. And also the huge image that a girl carries a bag, totally suits to represent our blogs business. Below we are going to explain our blog in details : These are pages which consists of Home, Contact Us, Order Form, Testimonials and also Terms and Conditions. Family Ties, Family Lost

The short story of Faulkner depicts the reality of life that is applicable to our world now. In most, if not all, societies, sons and daughters are below the level of the parents because they are younger and less experienced in life. Children are expected to obey their parents because parents know what is right and what is best for their families. After all, they have lived longer. Twinned with this obligation to obey their parents is the children’s duty to be loyal to the family.Blood if thicker than water, they say. Ties that bind the family are of a different kind, something that is not easily broken. In fact, his being a civil war veteran sealed the cuffs on his family. His wife could not say anything about his barn burning ways and neither can his sister. If the older people cannot stand up to Abner, there was no way that his son, Satry, can stand up for his own either. The way Abner Snopes had tied his son, Satry, to their family is not something that should be admired.A bner had so much influence over his family, especially over his son, that Satry cannot make a decision for himself. Blind adherence to the principles of obedience and family loyalty had tied him so tightly that when the time came that he was about to stand up for what he believed was right and moral, it was too late. His father was already dead. The last part of the story actually reminded me of the movie American History X, wherein the older brother was a convicted white supremacist who heavily influenced his younger brother. When the time came that the older brother was trying to reverse every single thing that he had taught his younger brother, somebody kills his brother. But even if he was too late, I admire the courage of Satry to leave behind the place that imprisoned his principles and to face the world on his own. In a sense, his father’s death was the baptism of Satry into the realities of the real world: that blind adherence to family can only get you so far and that at the end of the day, it is your principles, in Satry’s case justice, that will take you through this world.Parents will always have influence and power over their children, in the same way that Abner had so much influence of Satry. But it must be conceded that there should be a balance between the parents wanting what is best for their children and what the children think are the core principles and beliefs in their life. It is enough that the parents try to teach their children but at the end of the day, every single decision must be made by the child. After all, it would be the children who would live their lives and not their parents.

Biography of William Shakespeare - 2130 Words

Romeo and Juliet. Macbeth. Hamlet. All of these plays have one thing in common. They were all written by a man named William Shakespeare. Now a household name, Shakespeare wrote a great number of plays and poems during the Elizabethan era. His work is studied by students everywhere, and his tales of adventure, comedy, and romance enjoyed by many. However, what if another author truly deserves the credit for his literature? Debated by historians for centuries, Shakespeare’s authorship has been challenged using a multitude of evidence. William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Stratford was small, only being home to 1,500 inhabitants. Stratford was a market town where people from neighboring cities traveled to sell their crops, animals, and goods. Shakespeare’s birthday is unknown, but had to have taken place before his christening on April 26. As a child, he grew up in a well-off middle-class family. However, this all changed when the business of Williams father, John Shakespeare, began to falter in 1576. The Shakespeare family tumbled into debt. William’s parents could not afford to send their son to work, so he was provided with free education at the local grammar school. The main purpose of the school was to teach its students Latin. Not much is known about Shakespeare between the time he was 15 until the year he became an up-and coming playwright in 1592. This period has been nicknamed Shakespeares lost years.
